Really the point is that you don't go there for a rest or serenity, but we'd just been working for months to the point of exhaustion and had come off a transatlantic flight. We were on floor three of 35, so we could faintly hear the boom of the music all day from the pool area. Two rooms beside us were used by a large group of all-night partyers, so there was lots of ongoing noise between them and in the corridor. ![]() Issues? The website promises serenity but it's a little hard to achieve in Vegas. The front desk staff were helpful and efficient, even if you and they know you're the one thousandth customer maybe that day - they do have a slightly fatigued air at times. A Starbucks between the two is a five minute walk from the foyer. It has several places to eat and there is a huge range restaurants in the MGM itself. The hotel has a luxury feel and is really comfortable. The rooms are large and are very comfortable. It's linked by a long internal walkway to the MGM Grand which has a huge casino. ![]() ![]() It's off the strip, has no casino, so is quieter.
